Last night after a long day of meetings and events, I stopped to read the Show Daily published by Lawn and Landscape. I will readily admit that is not something I usually do, but one article caught my eye and wanted to bring it to your attention: “The Advantage of Great Systems” by Mike Rorie. Mike built a very large landscape contractor (Groundmasters) and sold it to Brickman a few years ago. He is now highly visible with GIS Dynamics, which offers the Go iLawn system.
This article outlines the advantages of both hard and soft systems in building your business. Among a number of other reasons to invest in systems, Rorie cites the advantage in attracting acquirers’ interest. In our experience, he is not wrong.
